Custom Bracing

This Thermoplastic HAFO design is a custom made polypropylene hinged ankle foot orthosis for support and stabilization of the talocalcaneal, mid-tarsal, and subtalar joints. The HAFO, made with a Free Motion or Dorsi-Assist ankle joint, manages abnormal motion or severe pronation in the transverse and frontal planes. It also stabilizes the ankle area medially, laterally, and reduces either forefoot abduction or adduction.

This Thermoplastic AFO features a custom made polypropylene design. Available in three profile designs (Posterior Leaf Spring, Semi-Solid, Sold Ankle), the Thermoplastic AFO supports, assists and controls the joints of the foot and ankle.

The Chargot Restraint Orthotic Walker (CROW) is an excellent alternative to total contact casting when maintaining and caring for the diabetic foot. The weight-relieving AFO minimizes the forces going through the foot. The rocker bottom and the custom molded insert enhance healing and off loading of the affected area.

The Ankle Gauntlet is a custom molded leather ankle brace made from non-operative management of posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, degenerative joint disease, tibialis tendonitis, severe pronation, among other foot and ankle problems.

An alternative to a traditional AFO, the Richie Brace combines a custom balanced functional foot orthotic with a semi-rigid ankle brace. The brace is indicated for cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, ataxia, hypotonia, as well as talipes equino varus, talipes calcaneal valgus, and tarsal coalition.

The Patella-tendon bearing ankle foot orthosis is a custom made polypropylene orthosis which borrows from the design of a prosthetic. This unique design uses the technique of bearing weight on the patella tendon. This orthosis is used when trying to unweight the foot and/or ankle.

This custom molded foot orthotic was originally designed by the University of California Berkeley (UCB). Most often manufactured from polypropylene, this device is used to treat PTTD, severe pes plano-valgus, and in-toeing in pediatric patients.

Foot Orthotics are custom made inserts that fit inside the shoe. They are designed to decrease abnormal motion of the foot while allowing normal movement. Foot Orthosis realigns your foot to a more usual or "neutral" position, restores balance, improves sports performance and serves to eliminate or reduce foot, back and leg pain by improving function and efficiency.

The Supra-malleolar orthosis is a custom made polypropylene ankle foot orthosis. This device is used to stabilize the talocalcaneal, mid-tarsel and subtalor joints but allows for free dorsi-plantar flexion. The SMO is inicated for mild cerebral palsy, post-tibial tendon dysfunction and ankle sprains.
